Lotto;

We had no winner of last week’s Lotto draw for a €10,400 jackpot. The winning numbers drawn were 5,11,23,25 bonus 27, congratulations to Betty Aherne of St Colman’s Tce who matched 3 numbers plus the bonus and wins €1000.

We had 2 match 3 winners who each receive €75.

Annual General Meeting;

This year’s AGM will take place at the GAA complex on River Street on Thursday 10th December at 7pm,all motions and officer nominations to be received by Friday 20th November.

Mass for all deceased members will be held on Saturday 5th Dec at 6pm in St Colman’s Church Cloyne.

St Colman’s Minor Social.

The victorious St Colman’s Premier 2 Minor Hurling County Champions will receive their medals at a social in Garryvoe Hotel on Saturday 5th December. Ticket information to follow, please come along and support the lads where a great night is sure to be had.

GAA Golf Society;

The Golf Society had its annual trip to Kenmare over the week-end of 7/8th November. In total 14 golfers travelled on what turned out to be a very enjoyable weekend in spite of poor weather conditions. The Saturday singles was won by Kevin O’Lomasney with 38 pts and the Sunday scramble was won by the Noel Cusack captained team of Donal O’Shea Declan and Sean Motherway with a gross 3 under par score. Our thanks to Kenmare Golf Club and Foley’s Guesthouse for their hospitality.

The Christmas Scramble will be held in Waterrock on Sunday 13th December with the AGM following the golf.

Cloyne Commons Challenge;

The second running of the 4k series will commence on Sunday next 22nd November at 9.30am with registration at Harty’s Bar and Restaurant. The series is generously sponsored by Harty’s Bar, East Cork Travel and Tri-n-Run Midleton.The cost is only €5 and a tee-shirt is available to all runners that finish 4 out of the 5 races.
