Aghada Juvenile GAA Report

Aghada Juvenile AGM:

The AGM of Aghada Juvenile GAA Club will be held in Rostellan Club House on Thursday 12th of November. Time: 7.30pm Sharp.

We would like to encourage as many parents, supporters and people from our community to attend AGM to acknowledge and appreciate the brilliant voluntary time and effort that our mentors and committees contribute to our players, while providing superb coaching skills and facilities for all to enjoy our sport.

U16B Football Success:

On Saturday our U16 football team advanced to the 2015 County B Football Final with a very well deserved victory over Dromtariffe. Their opponents in the final are the winning team from the Bantry/Ballygarven semi-final game. Get those flags flying and your green and white club gear out for the big day. Thanks to Eoin, John, Dave and Eric for their continued team coaching and encouragement to each player on the panel.

On Sunday our minor hurling team played Valley Rovers in the semi-final of the P2 league in Brinny. With a very strong performance by the Valley players on the day, they now advance to the league final V St. Colmans. Thanks to Philip, Richie and Joe for their commitment over the years to this group of players.

Scor na nOg:

All roads lead to Lisgoold Community Hall on Sunday November 8th for the East Cork Scor na nOg Final. Time: 6pm. Please support.

It is difficult to believe but at our recent Juvenile GAA Club meeting it was discussed that we must get working on our annual LONG PUC event. Where did that year go!
