Aghada U16 Football Championship Success:

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, Aghada U16 footballers, parents, mentors and supporters travelled to Cobh to compete in this year’s U16B East Regional Final V Ballygarvan. Each Aghada player put in a very impressive performance, displaying great team-work, skill, and determination. Aghada emerged victorious in an entertaining contest, on a score line of: Aghada 0-16 to Ballygarvan 0-10. Team: David O’ Sullivan, Ben Stafford, Kyle O’Shea Rory Slye, Donagh Rice, Darragh Murphy, Cal Bawden, Marcus Leahy, Craig Hogan, Conor Moloney, Alan Hogan, Mark Mc Carthy, Niall Hill, Barry Hoban, Sean Morrissey, Vincent Rohan, Cian Cotter, Oisin Counihan, Ciaran Galligan, Luke Foley and Robert Hickey. Thanks to the following mentors Eoin O’ Neill, Dave Fitzmaurice, Eric Smith and John O’ Neill. The Aghada convoy toured the high ways and byways of Saleen, Aghada and Whitegate displaying the green and white attire before returning to Rostellan Club house where parents had prepared a welcoming feast for this gallant team.

Sat 24th Oct U16 B County Football Semi Final in Ballicollig at 3-00pm  Aghada v Drumtarriffe 

Congratulations to our U12 football team who had an impressive victory over Crosshaven last week-end in the U12 East League Final. The final score Aghada 2-11 Crosshaven 1-07.

Aghada Minor Hurlers meet Valley Rovers in the League Semi-Final on Sunday @2-30. Please travel to Brinny to support the Boys in Green. TBC.

Scor a nOg:

Aghada Scor a nOg members team are heading to Lisgoold Community Hall for 6pm, on Sunday November 8th, to compete in the East Cork Scor na nOg Finals. This is a very enjoyable evening where the emphasis is on promoting our culture and heritage.
