Aghada Juvenile GAA Report

Aghada Cul Camp Success:

During this year’s fun Cul Camp and with the very much appreciated help from parents/volunteers, an extra treat for the Cul Camper were put in place while our brilliant coaches had their deserved chill out break. The younger group got the opportunity to create their favourite GAA star from play dough, the next group got to draw the Sun Smart Cul Camp logo and design the new club-house with lego and the senior group got to stroll on the beach, collect shells and work as a team to get their art skills in motion to form GAA sign. Bill Copper Cork Hurling Star called to Rostellan to meet up with the Girls/Boys attending the annual Aghada GAA/Kelloggs Cul Camp. After Bills encouraging talk on “Enjoying Your Sport” to the very attentive group, the markers were produced to get that all important signature on the jersey/hurley. Thanks to Bill and all our COOL Coaches for giving their time to each childs request of name signing.

Aghada U10 Football Blitz:

On Saturday 8th an U10 Football Blitz was held in Rostellan. Thanks to coaches on the day Cian Flemming, Conor Counihan, Jim Motherway, Declan Devoy, P.J. Hurley, and Diarmuid Mulcahy – A special word of thanks to Sean Crowley GDA who makes it all look so easy setting up the pitches etc. Once again the catering was very much appreciated by everyone who attended and many thanks to everyone who provided baking and their time for this special part of Helping the GAA Volunteer Social Groups!!
