Cloyne GAA Notes;

15 June, 2015

We had no winner of last week’s Lotto draw for a €6,200 jackpot or no winner of the match 3 plus the bonus prize of €1000.

The winning numbers drawn were 5,16,26,28 bonus 12.

Congratulations to Gerard Tynan of Cloyne who was the only match 3 winner for which he receives €150.

Next week’s draw for a €6,400 jackpot will take place in Aunty Biddies Bar with tickets available from all local outlets.

Intermediate Hurling;

Last week was a busy one for the Intermediate hurlers as they continued their preparations for the upcoming championship game.

On Monday night we welcomed the hurlers of Duhallow to Cloyne for a very entertaining practice game. The game was very competitive for 45 minutes and only got disjointed for the last 10 minutes as both teams emptied their benches.

Duhallow won on the scoreline of 20 points to 1.13 and we are very grateful to them for making the long journey to Cloyne on a Bank Holiday.

On Thursday night we travelled to An Rinn outside Dungarvan for another practice game, which again was of great benefit to the team.

Our ability to score goals was to prove the main difference between the teams as we ran out 5.13 to 14 point winners.

Our gratitude to An Rinn for the game and for their hospitality after the game, which was very much appreciated.
