Lotto;

We had no winner of last week’s lotto draw for a €5,400 jackpot or no winner of the €1000 prize for matching 3 numbers plus the bonus number.

The winning numbers drawn were 3,16,27,28 bonus 6.

We had 3 match 3 winners and each receives €50.

All was quiet on the playing fields the past week with no competitive games played; the Intermediate team however continue to train hard ahead of their first round game against Watergrasshill.

We hosted the first round of the Senior Hurling Championship on Saturday night last when we welcomed Youghal and Na Piarsaigh to our new complex at River St.

On a good night for hurling Na Piarsaigh ran out surprisingly easy winners on a 5.13 to 12 point scoreline.

Our thanks to all members that helped out as stewards on the night and ensured everything ran off smoothly.

A Night At The Dogs

We are holding a fundraising night at the dogs incorporating a Buster Draw.The event will take place on Friday night 5th June at 8pm in the Youghal Greyhound Stadium.Tickets are only €10 which entitles you to entry into the track,a racecard and entry into our Buster Draw for a €500 first prize.Tickets are available from all committee members and players,please come along and support the club and enjoy what is always a great night out especially for the children.

Golf Society;

We held our 2nd outing of the year in Fermoy Golf Club on Sunday last 17th May. We were short a number of regulars with 14 players taking part on the day. Our thanks to Fermoy for their hospitality and for having the course in good condition and the greens about 13 on the stimpmeter !!!!!!.

The winners were as follows;

3rd Pa Barry 29 pts.

Our next outing is our first Major of the year with the staging on Kevin Lawton’s Presidents prize in Castlemartyr on Sunday 14th June at 11.40 am.
