Intermediate Hurling League

Castlemartyr 1.16 Dripsey 0.14

We picked up our first points in the league on Saturday evening in Dripsey. In a lively opening half we led 1.10 / 0.04 at the break, the goal coming from Eddie Clifford. Dripsey had the better of the early exchanges in the second half but a few well taken scores saw us win our first points. Cathal &, Liam Martin as well as James Lawton impressed while the bulk of the scoring was done by Eddie Clifford, Colin Bowens and Cian Haines.

Congratulations to Peter and Christine Horgan on the birth of twin boys on Friday, that's our midfield sorted for the future.

Castlemartyr GAA wishes to extend its deepest sympathies to a number of families after recent bereavements.

To the Burke family on the recent passing of Mick Burke. To the Griffin family on the passing of Jamie Griffin. To the Costine family on the recent passing of Kathleen O’Leary (née Costine) Bandon.
