Intermediate Hurling League.

At the fourth time of asking we recorded our first victory in this year’s league campaign. It came in the form of a fine away win over Kilworth on Wednesday 29 th April.

The win didn’t look likely at half time as despite playing with a strong wind we held a 1-point advantage at the break 7pts to 1.03.

A strong second half performance aided by goals from Ashley Walsh, Chris Smith and Colm O’Sullivan saw us over the line winning by 4 points 3.11 to 1.13.

Inter County;

Congratulations to Waterford who collected their 3rd league title on Sunday by virtue of an emphatic 10 point win over a very out of sorts Cork team.

Well done to Paudie who tried hard when introduced after 10 minutes.

Cork face Waterford in the championship in 5 weeks time where we hope the result will be reversed.
