Junior Football

Our footballers continued their good form with a very clinical victory over Bride Rovers in the quarter final of the East Cork Championship last Friday evening in Killeagh. In atrocious weather conditions we took the iniatitive right from start, we scored some great points and eventually all our possession told when John Keane smashed the ball to the net. We led at halftime by 1-07 v 0-02. In the second half we controlled the game sensibly and ran out comfortbale winners by 1-11 to 0-05. Well done to the players and selectors for their performances and commitment over the three rounds, we can all now look forward to a semi final v Erins Own later in the year.
