Midleton Hurling & Football Notes

Senior Hurling
Last Saturday evening in Ballincollig our hurlers lost out in the quarter final of the Red FM League to a hungrier Blackrock side.
The game was very even in the first half with both sides trading some fine scores to leave the game at halftime at 7pts a piece. The Rockies started the second half with some well taken points, unfortunately we found it much harder to register scores with their defence on top. They eventually ran out winners on a scoreline of 0-10 v 0-18.
Many thanks to all the players, selectors and back room staff for all their efforts throughout the year.
