Junior B Football Championship.

Having played a preliminary round on May 4th we finally got around to playing our first round game v Bride Rovers on Saturday last in Lisgoold. This is Bride Rovers first team and having reached the County semi-final would be one of the favourites for the East Cork title and this was borne out on the field as they easily defeated our very young side 2.12 to 3 points.
We now go into round 2 where we play Carrigtohill to see who advances to play Glenville in round 3.At the time of writing no definite fixture has been made so keep an eye on Social media and locally for details.

Congratulations to Ballyhea and Sarsfields on winning the County Premier Intermediate hurling championship and the Senior County hurling championship respectively.Best of luck to both clubs as they embark on their journey through Munster.
