Cloyne GAA Notes.


Lotto;
We had no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot of €8,600 or no winner of the match 3 plus the bonus prize of €1000.
The winning numbers drawn were 14,16,22,26 bonus 9.
2 people matched 3 numbers and each receives €75

Next week’s draw for a €8,800 jackpot will be held in Aunty Biddies bar with tickets available from all local outlets or any committee member.

Junior Football;
The Junior B footballers continued there preparations for the upcoming championship with the playing of their last division 3 league game v Lisgoold.The game played on Sunday morning last at our River Street field resulted in a comfortable win. The victory leaves us on 6 points after our 5 games but this won’t be enough to qualify for the division 3 league final.
At the time of going to press the championship game v Bride Rovers hasn’t been fixed so watch locally and on social media for updates.

Fixtures;
Intermediate football relegation final v Glanworth Sunday 5th October in Rathcormac at 5pm.
TBC Junior B football championship v Bride Rovers.

Condolences;
The club would like to express its condolences to the family of Mrs Lawton of Kilmicahill who died recently.Mrs Lawton is mother to Intermediate football selector Kevin and Brian a Junior hurling selector and was a lifelong supporter of Cloyne GAA.

Congratulations;
Congratulations to the Cork Ladies Football team on their remarkable victory over Dublin in the All Ireland Final. The team trailed Dublin by 10 points with 15 minutes to go and finished strongly to fashion a 2 point win.
Congrats to all the East Cork representatives on the team and panel and to manager Eamonn Ryan of Watergrasshill.

Gym;
