Next week’s draw for a €5,200 jackpot will be held in Harty’s Bar with tickets available from all local businesses.

Junior Hurling;
On Saturday night last in difficult conditions for hurling the respective second strings of neighbours Cloyne and Russell Rvs faced up to each other in round 2 of this years league.
Players that were team mates 24hrs earlier in a St Colman’s minor game found themselves in opposition for this game, just another interesting sub plot to the local derby.
Short quite a number of regulars for various reasons the management can be satisfied with another 2 points in the bag as we strive to move out of division 3.
Spurred on by the strong play of Eoin Motherway,James Cotter and Mike Naughton at the back John Cotter pulling the strings around the middle of the field and Ciaran Mullins a threat up front we held on for a two point victory 11 points to 1.06.
