U13 FL: Killeagh-Itas beat Carrigtwohill in a round 2 game played in Killeagh on Monday 28th April at 7pm
U13 Football League:
Our U13 footballers took to the playing field in Killeagh last Monday evening (28/4/’14) to play Carrigtwohill and emerged victorious from the encounter. A strong group of players turned up for the game and all of them played an important part in achieving a victory. The weather conditions and the playing pitch could not have been better and led to an enjoyable and well fought game. It took a while for both teams to settle into the game but once they did, they played the game in a friendly but competitive manner and in the end Killeagh-Itas proved to be the more clinical and won the game convincingly.
Team: J O’Shea, D Lucey, C McDonald, G Sinclair, P Delaney (Capt), R Sinclair, D Cunningham, R McCarthy, R Landers, D Motherway, O Broderick, D Kelly, D O’Connor, K O’Toole, C Fitzgibbon.
Subs: L Hoogstad, O Coleman, A. O’Connell, T Noonan
