On the night guest speakers included Ger Lane Vice Chairman of the Cork County Board, Dick Fitzgerald Chairman of the East Cork Board, Neillus Carroll who represented the Ladies Football County Board, Philip Harrington  who represented the Ladies Football East Cork Board, John Halbert Chairman Glenville Football Club, Eddie Hogan Chairman Watergrasshill Hurling Club and Ber O Callaghan Chairperson Watergrasshill Ladies Football and Camogie Club. The book was officially launched by the parishes very own Eamon Ryan who interested the crowd with many a tale about his playing days. The sense of community at this event was second to none as those who attended shared memories with each other in what was a truly great evening for all. Congratulations again to Siobhan, Frank, Danny and Jerry on their achievement and to Kay O Farrell and Patrick O Donoghue who did much work behind the scenes.
