We played our first hurling game of the year on Sunday. It took us a while to get going, the game saw the return of Mike o Neill who impressed with 3 fine points and Rory Mcgovern both playing their first hurling game in a few years. James Lawton played well in defence while Barry lawton and Brian O Tuama led the scoring.

U21 Football

Unfortunately our U21 footballers lost out to Carrigtwohill in the first round. This team is a combination of Lisgoold and Castlemartyr and play under the name Castlegoold. We had the better of the first half and led by for points at the break but Carrigtwohill upped their game in the second half and ran out four point winners on a score of 2-10 to 1-09 to progress to the next round.
