March 9th Killeagh-Ita’s versus Passage

Killeagh-Ita’s under 14 football squad played their second league match of the campaign on Sunday in Killeagh. Passage travelled down to play and both teams served up a great match under reasonably good weather conditions. The strong wind was a key factor in the game and playing with it in the first half, Passage were well in control and led at the break on a score of Killeagh-Ita’s 0-02 Passage 2-05. Playing with the wind in the second half, our lads increased the pressure on their opponents but could not get the breaks to put scores on the board. Passage went on to win the game with a score of 3-07 to Killeagh-Ita’s 0-07. Well done to all involved in a good overall performance and also a big thanks to all the parents who attended the game and gave great support to the players.
