SWAP SHOP – LET’S HELP EACH OTHER OUT!
FRIDAY 7th, SATURDAY 8th and SUNDAY 9th FEBRUARY
This year we are trying a new venture for our Registration weekend. We are running a Swap Shop to enable parents to take used equipment and sports clothing for use by their own children. The reason we are running this is to try to cut down on costs for parents, especially those with younger children who might just be starting to play GAA. The Swap Shop will run in Killeagh GAA Pavilion on Friday February 7th from 6.00 to 8.00 p.m., on Saturday February 8thfrom 12.00 to 2.00 p.m., and on Sunday February 9th from 2.30 to 5.00 p.m. You can bring any of the following items that you have no more use for and let others take them if they are suitable: helmets, hurleys, football boots (tie laces together to make a pair), shinguards, hoodies, jerseys / tops, tracksuits (tops or bottoms). This is our first time trying this venture. It will only work if people bring items and respect the principle of fairness. Do not take too much, and only take what you will use for your own child/children.
