Midleton Hurling & Football Notes

Junior Hurling
All good things come to an end and so did the unbeaten run last Saturday evening in Castlemartyr of the Junior B hurlers against Aghada. Their wonderful ran goes back to a defeat by Erins Own in June 2008, with 4 titles in a row since great credit must go to the ever present selectors Gavin Power, Michael Tobin & Ger Lawton.
A back door game awaits against either Dungourney or Ballinacurra.
Final Score: Midleton 1-07 v Aghada 0-13
Team: Coran Swayne, Colm Leahy, Alan Cahill, Joe Stack, Billy O Shea, Jerome Curtin, Luke Dineen, Alan Stanton, Davy Hogan, Mark O Keeffe,  Keith Ryan, Ian Fitzpatrick, Gavin Hurley, Aonghus Cotter & Willie O Brien. Subs Niall Walsh for Stanton & Stanton for Alan Cahill.
