Results:
JFL Division 4 Glenbower Rovers 2-07 Russell Rovers 0-11
On Monday last, August 19th, in Killeagh we hosted Russell Rovers in our third match of the Division 4 East Cork football league. We were delighted with the turn out of players with 25 togging out. We were also delighted with the effort given during a tough competitive match. We started well in the first half and led at half time on a score line of 2-0 3 to 0-07 points, with the two Kevin's, O'Connor and Lane bagging the goals.

At half time we knew that Russell Rovers would throw everything at us and they did. Fortunately our defence were up to the task and with Colin Walsh playing outstanding in goals and Conor McNamara and Patrick O'Brien leading the defensive lines we were able to repel the visitors gallant efforts and with Mathew Murphy at midfield Tadgh O' Connor leading the attack, we were able to pick off a few vital scores which kept us ahead and ensured our second win of the league campaign. This win was as a result of a great overall effort by the 20 players used. It was great to see the number of players that turned up and it shows the healthy state of football in the club and we look forward to the remaining matches in the league and look forward to the upcoming championship.

Killeagh-Ita’s Juvenile GAA Notes
Fé 13 Development Hurling League.
Ballincollig 2-12
Killeagh/Ita’s 3-3

A tough enough night at the office for round 4 of the Fé 13 hurling Rebel Óg Development League.
Ballincollig got off to a good start and held the lead the whole way through. Our lads appeared a bit flat on the night and never got going as well as they usually do.
However we kept plugging away and finished the game the stronger, scoring 2 goals near the end, a bullet from Olan Broderick, and another from Jonathan Guerin.
There is a football match in this league on Monday 26th August in Killeagh. Throw in 7.00pm.
Team: Aaron O’Connell, Daniel Lucey, Cian MacDonald, Patrick Barry, Paul Delaney, Robert Sinclair, Cathal Fitzgibbon, Olan Broderick, Karl O’Toole, George Sinclair, Ryan McCarthy, Oisín McCarthy, Olan Coleman, Darragh O’Connor, Jonathan Guerin, Liam Hoogstad Richie Landers.
