A tribute to Pat Horgan

Carrigtwohill GAA Club would like to pass a vote of sympathy to the family of the late Pat Horgan. Pat was a great servant of Carrigtwohill GAA Club for many years.
Having firstly been involved with Ballinora and Bishopstown GAA Clubs, on his coming to Carrigtwohill in 1966 he immediately became involved in GAA affairs. He served as a committee member before becoming Chairman for a three year period 1977 – 1979.
He later served the club as an East Cork Board delegate for many years. He was an ever present spectator at all our games for nearly fifty years and was always great company.
His three sons John, Kieran and Pat have continued to give great service in all aspects to the Carrigtwohill GAA Club and his grandson Jay was a member of our winning Cork Senior Hurling Championship panel of 2012.
Carrigtwohill GAA Clubs sympathy goes to his wife Irene, sons, grandchildren and extended family.

Also Carrigtwohill GAA Club would like to pay tribute to the late Joan Scully who was a great community worker and a great help to Carrigtwohill GAA Club behind the scene. Her untimely death has shocked everyone and Carrigtwohill GAA Club wish to extend their deepest sympathy to her husband Donal, her children Jack, Billy and Hannah and her extended family.

May they both rest in peace.
