On Saturday night next Glenville take on Glanmire in round 2 of the Cork County Premier Intermediate Football Championship in Caherlag at 7.30pm This will be a tough test for Glenville playing against an experienced Glanmire outfit who played in two county finals at this level in recent years. Glenville were beaten convincingly in round 1 against Grenagh andmust produce a major improvement if they want to progressin this years championship. Preperation has being going well in recent weekswith a good performance against Clonakillty last week in the Kelleher Shield. Support is vital for saturday night's game, so come out and get behind the lads on saturday night.

U14 football League

Castleyons 1-05

Glenville recorded an excellent victory over castleyons in castleyons onsunday evening last. Glenviile led at haf time 2-03 to 1-03. The goals coming from Kevin o Neill and points from Niall Griffin, Kevin o Neill and Dara o Callaghan. Glenville dominated the second half with some fine performances from Kevin o Neill, Niall Griffin, Denis o Farrell and Dara o Callaghan. Dara o Callaghan kicked over a number of points in the second, Daniel Fitz added anotherand a goal and a point from Josh Cooke gave Glenville the two points on offer and won on a scoreline of 3-7 to 1-5.

U12 Football League

Glenville travelled to Carrigtwohill friday night last to play the home side in the east corkU12 football league. After a close first half, Glenville dominated the second half and ran out comfortable winners in the end.

U10 football League

Glenville had an impressive victory over Fr o Neills in the east cork U10 Football league. After playing some very good football throughout the game ,Glenville were victorious on a scoreline of 3-7 to 1-5.
