Football;
The Junior footballers made the long trip to Fuohy Park in Glenville on Wednesday night last and despite a gallant effort they returned defeated on the scoreline of 1.05 to  6 points.This year we are operating in Div 4 of the league and have 3 of our 5 scheduled games played with games against Aghada and Glenbower Rovers to come.

Hurling;
The intermediate team continued their preparations for the fast approaching championship with a league game away to Carrigaline.We started well and 2 Diarmuid O Sullivan goals settled us down and we went on to lead 3.08 to 10 points at half time.The second half saw us score a further 6 goals that ended the game as a contest.The final score of 9.11 to 1.14 would suggest that this was a totally one sided game but Carrigaline more than acquitted themselves in this game and were full value for their 1.14 scored. On the night everything went well for us in front of goal with top scorers Diarmuid and Colm O Sullivan both grabbing hatricks and Domhnall O Sullivan,Keith Dennehy and Phil Considine contributing a goal apiece.
It was nice to see both Jordan Sherlock and Stevie Beausang getting some game time and both acquitted themselves well.
Next up for the team is a home tie against Newcestown on Tuesday 21st May at 7.30pm.
