Intermediate Football;
Preparations for the upcoming championship continued with a practice game against Waterford Senior team Kilrossanty on Saturday night last.
A panel of 25 took on the locals in three 20 minute games with all who travelled seeing some game time.It was a very worthwhile exercise and we would like to thank Kilrossanty for the game and their hospitality on the night and hopefully we can return the favour later on in the season.
We play Grenagh in the first round of the championship on Sunday next 12th may at 3.30pm in Watergrasshill.

An Evening of Style;
Tickets for next Thursday nights Evening of Style with Celia Holman Lee are selling well with a great nights entertainment assured.Tickets for the event which is kindly sponsored by Cloyne Pharmacy can be bought from all participating shops or any committee member.

Imokilly Senior Hurlers;
Well done to the Cloyne contingent that helped Imokilly in their victory over CIT in the rearranged Senior hurling championship tie.We had 6 players on the starting 15 and 4 subs as well as a selector.

Best Wishes;
Best wishes to Paudie as he embarks on his road to recovery after his recent injury.He has come back very strongly from his previous injury and no doubt will do so again with every help afforded him from the Club.

Gratitude;
The club would like to thank all it’s members that helped in the recent search for Stephen Kirrane and also formed the guard of honour that joined with Ballinacurra GAA and the Coastguard.

Development;
Great progress is being made at our development at River St with the first floor fitted and the new boundary wall in place and being faced with stone.Updated photographs have been posted on www.cloynegaa.ie and are worth a visit if you can’t call to view the progress in person.
