East Cork junior 3 hurling league Dungourney 2-15. Castle martyr 2-07.
The hurling matches don't seem to stop at the moment and it was the junior Cs last Thursday night who put in a great display to defeat a fancied Killeagh team to progress to the semi final of the junior C championship. This was a wholehearted nip and tuck affair but Dungourney always seemed to have the upper hand and they led by 4 points to 1 after ten minutes back came Killeagh however to score a good goal but Dungourney kept their heads and led at half time 0-10 to 1-04.
The second half started well for us and the evergreen Seanie Murphy had a great goal after eight minutes to add to his first half point,Brian Ronayne was flying as we'll tapping over some great points there must be a fountain of youth in Donickmore!!!Killeagh fought back well and were within a point with eight minutes to go but Dungourney rallied well and Paul Byrne added a point to his second half goal to ease the fears of Paddy and his troops who ran out winners by two points.Final score Dungourney 2-13 Killeagh 2-11.
