The U12 second team played Whites Cross in their last league game on Wednesday night played in Whites Cross and had a comprehensive win with Glenville displaying great skill and finishing over a physically stronger home side. Well done to all involved in having a good league campaign considering the team is made up of all U11 players. Final score Glenville 6-10 Whites Cross 1-5
The U12 first team received a walkover in the last game on Saturday as Russell Rovers failed to field. Again another solid league run with very good performance and progress along the way.
The U16s had an early start on Sunday with a 10.30am start away in Ballinspittle against Coursey Rovers in the league. This was a very good game for our side with Courseys a very competent side. Glenville through the excellence of Dilan o Donovan snatched an equaliser with the last kick of the game maintaining a good league campaign so far. Final Score Glenville 2-10 Courseys 3-7. Others to contribute well over the hour were Michael Goggin, PJ Dennehy and Eoin Hammond while Colm Fenton kicked some very good free from the ground.
Well done to PJ Dennehy who continues to do the club proud with Cork U15 Footballers. Also to Tom Dinan, Aaron Collins and Dylan McCarthy who are currently involved with Cork U14 Football side.
