SHL KILLEAGH 2.18 CLOYNE 1.09.On Wednesday night our senior hurlers travelled to Ballynoe for our fourth league game of the season.WhileI wasnt at the game, Ursula kept me up to date on the scores. 15 mins into the game the sides were level at 5pts a piece, Andy Walsh separated the sides with a well taken goal and we tacked on 4 more pointsbefore half time. 1.09 - 0.5pts. We started the second half brightly and kept the score board ticking over before Joe Budds rattled the Cloyne net.Cloyne hit back with a goal but we had done enough on the night.

SHL Killeagh 1.11 -Carrigtohill 2.15. On Sunday evening Carrig were the visitors to Killeagh for our fifth game in the senior league. The opening half saw very little to separate both teams.Carrig rattled the Killeagh net early in the first half and we always looked to be playing catch up. We went in at the break with that goal separating us 1.06 - 0.06. The second half started well for us but Carrig to their credit carved out some great scores ,and again rattled the Killeagh net. Mark Landers sent a 21 yard free crashing into the back of the net, but it just wasnt to be our day. Carrig the victors by 7 pts.

PREMIER MINOR HURLING - 1st round of the County.

Killeagh Ita's 1.12 Courcey Rovers 3.14.

Hard luck to our minors who came up against a very strong West Cork outfit.Despite going in a goal up at half time, the Rovers fought back in a fiercely competitive game to defeat us by 8 points. Better luck next time.
