Junior Hurling
The junior hurlers had a good win on Saturday night last when they defeated Carrigtohill at home on the scoreline of 1.14 to 11 pts.
This was their best display of the campaign and comes at the right time as they put the finishing touches to their championship preparations.
Best on the night were James Lynch who scored 1.09, David Jermyn, Nial Donovan and Graham Fleming and the game also marked the return in goals of Kevin O Lomasney who put in a very competent display and reminded people why he is the holder of a county medal “between the sticks”.
Next up for the team is the first round championship game v Cobh on Thursday night at 8pm in Ballinacurra.

The club are holding a “Buster Draw” in Youghal Greyhound track on Friday night 22nd June at 8pm.Each ticket contains a sequence of numbers 1 to 6 and if the finishing combination of dogs in a designated race matches your ticket you win €500.
