Senior Hurling;

For the second year in a row we find ourselves in round 3 of the championship after a very disappointing display against Killeagh on Sat night last.
Killeagh were full value for their win and a 5 point defeat flattered us slightly on a night when none of our players played to their potential, notable exceptions in Diarmuid O Sullivan and Brian Fleming.
All is not lost however and it must be remembered that we were in a similar position last year before excellent wins V Ballinhassig and Glen Rvs turned our season around.
Attention now turns to the big ball as we begin preparations for our round 2 game V Aghabullogue which is fixed for Wed 27th June in Pairc Ui Rinn.

Fixtures;
Sat 16th June Div 2 hurling V Carrigtohill at 8pm in Cloyne.
Thursday 21st June Junior A Hurling Championship V Cobh in Ballinacurra at 8.00 pm.
Wed 27th June Intermediate Football C/Ship V Aghabullogue Pairc Ui Rinn at 6.45 pm

Marathon Men;
Congratulations to Senior hurling coach Maurice Cahill who completed his first Marathon in a very creditable 4.02 on Bank Holiday Monday in Cork City.
Also to club members Anthony (Hammer) Coleman (3.58) and Mike Cremin who did the half marathon in 1.37 and to all members and friends who took part on the day.
