Intermediate Football
The intermediate football team continued there preparations for the upcoming championship game with an away game V Canovee on Sunday morning last.
The team that were short up to 5 regulars gave a good performance and were unlucky to lose by 2 points in an entertaining game that was somewhat spoiled by a very strong wind.
Best for Cloyne on the day were Domhnall and Eoin O Sullivan, goalscorer Brian Fleming and David Jermyn who performed very well in an unfamiliar full forward position.

Best Wishes
Im sure all GAA followers will join me in wishing a speedy and complete recovery to Cloyne and Cork star Donal Og Cusack after his recent injury.
Sport can be cruel and this injury is unfortunate coming as it has in a big year for Donal as captain of Cork.
If anyone can come back from an injury like this Donal Og can and don’t rule out seeing him donning the red/white and red/black jerseys next year.
