Sars played Charleville last Sunday in what was a very entertaining junior hurling challenge, the visitors
were short three or four of their first team ,Sars fielded a near full strenght side with one or two seniors

interspersed.In a game that was of great benefit to both sides Sars finished the stronger on a scorline

of 2gls 13pts  to Charleville,s 18pts.

S.H.L. Sarsfields, remain unbeaten in the S.H.L. with two draws and two wins.Blackrock were the opposition

on  Saturday night,Sars made all the early running being comfortably ahead at half time on a scoreline

of 1gl.10pts to 4pts.In the second half it was a different story with the rockies getting all the early scores.However

when push came to shove Sars proved themselves to be the stronger of the two outfits.Gavin O Loughlin

gave a sparkling performance first at midfield and then at wing foward to finish with a tally of 1gl.4pts.

The final score Sars1gl.16pts. Blackrock 1gl.12pts.
