Intermediate Football League

Cloyne 0.06 pts Glanworth 2.11

Following last weeks excellent performance and result against Fermoy we were brought firmly back down to earth with an 11 point defeat to Glanworth on Sunday morning last.
Whether it was the early morning start or the tough week of training this was an overall poor team display albeit short a few regulars.
However you don’t become a bad team overnight and we will have an opportunity to rectify the situation in our next fixture in 2 weeks time.

Question;

Last week while we congratulated Keith Dennehy on winning his All Ireland football medal we posed the question was he the first Cloyne man to do so?
Subsequently it has come to our attention that there are not one but two club members who have two All Ireland football medals each.
Answers on the back of cheques made payable to Cloyne GAA club!!!!!!
Tune in next week for the answer!
