Cloyne GAA Notes


There was no winner of last weeks lotto for a jackpot of  €12,400.
Numbers drawn were 6,10,19,25 with the bonus  15.
There was no match 3 plus the bonus winner and 5 match 3 winners that each receive €30

Junior League

The Junior footballers started their 2012 league campaign in a winning fashion with a 3.08 to 1.06 victory over Lisgoold in Cloyne last Sunday.
This match marked the debut of both Kenneth O Donovan and Mick Kiely and they both acquitted themselves very well.A relatively young team played some lovely football with Ciaran Mullins top scorer with 2.02,the other goal coming from Kenneth O Donovan,others to play well were James Lynch,Keith Dennehy and Michael Donovan.

Next week the team are at home to Glenville at 4pm in Cloyne.


The fixtures for the coming week-end are;
Saturday 18th Minor football league V St Catherines in Ballynoe at 7pm.
Sunday 19th Intermediate Football V Cill Na Matra in Cloyne at 2pm.
Sunday 19th  Junior Football V Glenville in Cloyne at 4pm.


The due date for membership is fast approaching,players who haven’t their membership payed by 17th March will not be entitled to train or play.
Ordinary members will need to pay by this date to be entitled to vote at this years AGM.


The club would like to offer a vote of sympathy to the family of the late Therese Barry Minane Bridge mother of committee member Brendan.
