At long last the action begins
The Minor footballers will open the campaign on Sat 4th Feb next when we take on Blarney in Eastern Region Minor A Football League 2 At Rostellan with a 3-00pm throw in. the Minors second game is fixed for Sat the 18th away to Mayfield again at 3-00pm

Our Junior A footballers have opted to enter the Avondhu/Imokilly football league this year. this will mean at lease two trips to Avondhu this spring. The league consists of eight Imokilly and eight Avondhu teams made up in two sections with four teams from each division in each section. Each team will have seven games. The league will commence on Sat 11th Feb when we entertain Liscarroll in the opening game with a 4-pm start. The following weeks we are away to Kilshannig and Ballyhooly. Then we have Ballyclough at home away to Erin Own  and home to Carraig na bhFear and Lisgoold

That weekend the Junior 3 football team will also be out when St Catherines under manager Denis Walsh travel to Rostellan. Other teams in that league are Russell Rovers, Glenbower Rovers, Carrigtwohill, Carraig na bhFear, Cloyne, Lisgoold, Glenville 

Our Senior footballers are out on the 19th Feb when they travel to Bantry Blues for the opening game of the Div 2 campaign. This will be followed by a home game with Valley Rvs a week later

The Junior A football championship draw was made last Wed night and Aghada drew Bride Rovers in the opening round. With the loser facing either Ballinacurra or Cobh in the losers round.
Both B grade hurling and football championship draws will be made next Wed night.

All U21F C and J F C games will be fixed for Saturday afternoons, unless there is agreement otherwise by the clubs involved - this is to facilitate the playing of league games on Sundays.
