Cork Vocationals;
Commiserations to both Keith Dennehy and Eoin Motherway who were members of the Cork Vocational Hurling Team defeated by Galway in Athenry on Sat last.
The game was played in constant rain and on a heavy pitch with the physically stronger Galway team finished strongly to win on a scoreline of 13 pts to 11.Keith played very well at midfield while Eoin was an unused sub.
Keith is also a member of the football team who are involved in the All-Ireland semi-finals,we wish him well in his pursuit of an All-Ireland medal.

Tom Creedon Cup;

Our interest in the Tom Creedon Cup Intermediate football competition came to an end on Saturday last as we lost to Ballinora on the scoreline of 2.09 to 8 pts.
We conceded 2 goals in the first half,the first one a penalty after 30 seconds and we were never able to claw these scores back despite a spirited second half display.
Best for the team on the day were Eoin O Sullivan,Chris Smith and James Nyhan.
