U14 Footballers into semi final.

Played in Glenville visiting St Vincents were put to the sword by an inform Glenville side who played with great poise and panache to over come this tricky fixture. When the sides met in the league a few weeks ago Glenville were two point winners so a close game was in offering.

Glenville attacked from the off and by 15 mins played the game was over as a contest as we led 4-4 to 0-1. The trend continued as another goal had this game wrapped up at the break. Glenville continued to show great promise in particular in the forward unit who carved out scoring opportunities at will.

Final Score Glenville 7-13 St Vincents 2-3.

A good win in the end moving nicely along to a semi final next week v Blarney. This will be a much different game and will be have to be on our best to have a chance of making the final.

Not an awful lot of action to report of the past week as action was down to the Intermediates hurlers dramatic draw against Valley Rovers in last Sundays chamnpionship game.

The replay is this Sunday 24th again in Pairc Ui Rinn.

Glenvilles Premier Intermediate Football championship game v Nemo Rangers is fixed for Saturday August 6th in Riverstown.

Guess the score winners for the Cork / Kerry Munster Final were Jason Power, Luke Ricken, Maeve Maloney, Ken Flynn, Natalie Cronin, Robert Kelleher, Elaine Murphy, Sean Murphy, Christy Healy, Collette Dunlea.

Each of these get a €20 prize. Underage games.

The U11 team played a challenge v Glanworth last Friday night and had another good performance winning in the end. This team are playing a football blitz in Ballynoe on saturday morning at 10.45am.

The U12s had another fine win in the league against visiting Fr o Neills 1-9 to 1-4 it ended.
